Game of Thrones: Stark Kids ranked
As everyone should know, Game Of Thrones is arguably the best if not most talked about show on TV today. It took me a while to finally join the wave, shit it took me a year to get past season 2 but once you finally breakthrough the first drag its smooth sailing and then you become dedicated. One of the most polarizing aspects of the show is the individual journeys for each of Ned Stark's six children. Ned and his wife Caitlyn tried to bestow a particular moral code of goodness and fairness In a harsh world to their children until their deaths in the 1st and 3rd seasons respectively. The show follows how each child tries to make through life motivated by different things, like the will to avenge their father, trying to make a name for themselves and protect the realm, or just the sheer will to survive. Here's my Stark child power ranking that highlights each's unique traits, fight me later over this...
6. Rickon Stark
Birth Order: 5th
Status: Dead (Killed by Ramsay Bolton)
other than being loyal and caring to his loved ones and having the coolest Direwolf, none really
Simply being the youngest and most vulnerable Stark child
5. Robb Stark
Birth Order: 1st
Status: Dead (Betrayed by Roose Bolton in alliance with the Freys and Lannisters)
Strong-willed, tough, and caring like his father before him. He also follows a strict and moral code to go by the book when it comes to honor, as did Ned. An excellent military strategist. During his war against the Lannisters, he never lost a battle and even managed to capture the Commander of the Kingsguard, Jaime Lannister
Showing his age. Robb was very proficient for his young age when it came to combat but ignorant when it came to what was politically right. Some of his immature decisions may have been good at heart but cost him alliances which eventually lead to his downfall, like when he married Talisa Maegyr out of love instead of one of Walder Frey's daughters as arranged regarding an alliance to strengthen both families. Frey returned the favor by betraying him along with Roose Bolton on his wedding day to help the Lannisters secure victory.
4. Sansa Stark
Birth Order: 2nd
The only Stark child that share traits from both of her parents. She carries the beauty and grace of her mother Caitlyn, but with her father's charm, which may be the reason how she survived this whole time. In most cases since her father was killed, she was used as a pawn to be married off in different houses to help seize control of the North, but her beauty and elegance was always recognized to be fit for a Queen. Since the death of both of her parents, she has consistently been abused, both mentally and physically by 2 of her suitors (King Joffrey and Ramsay Bolton, the latter which sadistically took away her innocence). These actions harden her to the world, and she begins to take on more political roles that helped regain her family's position in Winterfell.
Being how she was groomed to be a fair lady by her mother and only cared for the stereotypical things that come with it such as music, dancing, knitting and self-image, she initially came off as very naive to how the world worked which led to her being taken advantage of on numerous occasions.
3. Jon Snow
Birth Order: (Illegitimate) Born around the same time as Robb Stark
Alive, then killed(Betrayed by Night's Watch soldiers), then Alive again (Resurrected by Melisandre at the request of Daavos)
The Bastard son* of Ned Stark has proven to be the most selfless of the bunch, always putting the needs of others before his own, which extends to his family, his night watch brothers and the realm itself. Arguably the most skilled swordsman in Westeros after Jaime Lannister got his fighting hand chopped off. He's also proven to be an excellent leader in times of crisis, as commander of the Night's Watch he successfully leads his team to victory against a Wildlings invasion and later against the Boltons to reclaim Winterfell, which results in him being proclaimed the new King of the North. It's later discovered that he isn't even Ned Stark's son ( the reason why I couldn't put him higher the list) but rather his nephew, and his father was Rhaegar Targaryen, so there's room for a much bigger role in the seven kingdoms for Jon Snow.
Other than being a bastard, one of his major weaknesses is that he's a little too considerate for his good. Plenty of times he put himself in jeopardy for the good of others, like after the defeat of his archenemy, the Wildlings, he brokered a truce with them to strengthen both side's manpower for the real war to come against the White Walkers. This decision alone caused a divide amongst members of the Night's Watch which led to a few against the treaty to ambush Jon and stab him down in cold blood. Also, being a bastard son - naturally, Jon tends to be quite emo, and this problem tends to get worse when gets killed.
2. Bran Stark
Birth Order: 4th
What he lacks in physical mobility, he makes up for in other unique ways. The only Stark child with supernatural abilities, skills that were amplified thanks to training from the ancient 3 Eyed Raven. He has the power to see through the eyes of others as well as mind control plus the power of precognition, which isn't limited to the alteration of past events. Fans widely speculate that Bran may be behind the entire existence of Westeros, and I think he just may be the key component in the upcoming war against the White Walkers. Bran is pretty much the Gohan of the Stark family given there's no clue to how far his powers extend.
Ok, do I have to say it? My g can't walk; there is no reason to elaborate. And he stinks at archery, like awful.
1. Arya Stark
Birth Order: 3rd
Status: VERY ALIVE
Um............UTTERLY AND COMPLETELY BADASS!!!!!! Since the 1st episode of the series, you could tell she was destined to be more than just another fair lady. She never cared much for becoming a proper lady and comes off as the family tomboy, preferring sword play in contrast to knitting. The complete opposite of her older sister Sansa, what she lacks in grace, she makes up for in sheer RUTHLESSNESS. The only Stark child that doesn't share her family's moral code and feels that death is the only God one should obey. Pretty much what I like about her is that SHE GETS IT! The world she lives in is a cold world and to survive you have to be just as cold. In large part to the fact that she has been virtually on her own since the death of her father in King's Landing and witnessed more than any other person at her age, which in turn hardened her to the world around her. Plus Arya is the best at the killing of the bunch, probably second overall in Westeros to The Mountain, that's just me. She even has a memorized Kill Bill list that she recites every night like its the Lord's Prayer. Plus she's been training under the Many-Faced God which will make her even more dangerous. Arya Stark has a very high ceiling, and I'm sure there's more sadistic, I mean great things to come from her.
Very irrational and a tad overzealous. A few of her impulse actions have caused trouble for herself and a few others. Like in season 1, when she disarmed Prince Joffrey when he was tormenting her friend Mycah, which led to the deaths of both her sister's Direwolf and Mycah himself. She was also made blind at one point by her teacher Jaqen H'ghar, for killing one of the people on said Kill Bill list even though it went against the rules of the Many-Faced God.
