Muhammad Ali's iconic status as a cultural figure is an exceptional one. We have never seen, and may never see another athlete to have the cultural impact as Ali has had. However, his pro-blackness and dedication to civil rights and social justice may be what ultimately defines him.
Vox did an excellent job acknowledging Ali's outsized personality and the legacy that will live on long after his passing.
